From dramatic and loud action movements to intimate and serene love themes. The musical journeys varies greatly between the original pieces presented below. One thing they share is love for the diversity of the symphonic orchestras' musical colours and flavours. Each piece is written in the tuning of A = 432 Hz for the benefit of all. Enjoy!
Most pieces within the section 'short compositions' are written to complement a specific film sequence, or mood.
Each piece is around 1 minute in length and are named after the style, or mood they represent.
Allow yourself time to listen to the great dynamics and power of the symphonic orchestra. I had an absolute blast composing the chinese theme in the unusual time signature of 7/8!
My aim is to showcase a variety of moods suitible for many kinds of feature films and television series.
All pieces are uploaded in FLAC-format (lossless audio compression method) in either 44,1 kHz/16-bit or 48 kHz/24-bit for maximum sound quality in an optimized file size.
Although there is a big difference between 16 and 24-bit depth in terms of capturing all nuances of the orchestral dynamics, FLAC is still way better than MP3 in terms of overall audio quality. I'm very happy to provide audio examples in a format closer to the original.
The audio from the videos below all share the AAC compression format (in 320 Kbit/s), where some of the audio quality is lost due to compression. However I still find they are OK in comparison to other formats.
Have fun comparing the difference!
